This one only gets four stars from me because it was very difficult to get this one to get me an image on my tv due to the size of it...I was not able to use it in the position where I had my tv at...I had to move my furniture around and by moving it it got the right reception and gave me an image ...It is durable , the quality of this little antenna is of good quality...It comes in a very nicely packed box for shipment..And the shipping was fast as well...over all I do recommend it to any one ... sample provided at discount for inspection and an unbiased review. I was thrilled when I found this antenna for my portable TV. The antenna seems to be of good quality, fits the TV that was a gift and I lost the original antenna. The antenna was delivered as promised and had a great price. (Posted on 04/04/2014)

Very interesting for the shortness and without cable. Regrettably comparing with another rod antenna, he does not have profit or adequate sensibility, it has been out of service, but he can suit someone's purposes in an emergency case (Posted on 20/03/2014)

I have used a variety of TV antennas over the past 40+ years, I was a CB enthusiast in the 1970's and '80's, worked with more than my fair share of ham radio egineers and majored in electrical engineering in college, and I must say that this is the worst anenna ever. The best one for digital TV reception was an old UHF wire antenna that was simply a piece of wire, that was attached to the F-type connector and bent at a 90 degree angle. (I wish I could find more of those.) It must have been tuned well. (most but not all of the digital TV [ATSC] startions are in the UHF band) As for this one, I got it to replace the ungainly multi-sectional (telescopic) antenna that came with my portable divital TV. (Fully-extended it tends to fall over because the tension on the swivel is less than the leverage the extended antenna exerts on it.) Well sir, after trying all the local channels, I went back to the antenna that came with it. With the possible exception of the antenna I mentioned first, it seems that old saying about receiving antennas is still true "The more antenna, the more signal you get". Well sir, this thing did not even bring in the same channels the other one does when it is cllapsed all the way and the same length. All this antenna seems to do is suppress all the weaker stations - and those are the ones I want to watch the most! Case in point, it would not reveice any of the weaker stations, but the telescopic antenna brought them in clearly. (I think the telescopic replacement antenna is less expensive too, the all chrome one, get THAT!) For the cost of them, it isn't worth it for me to return them. I bought 2, one for my portable and one for me digital converter box. I guess I'll stick to that old UHF antenna for the coniverter box and the extra-large but efficinet antenna that came with the digital TV. Live and learn, the same lessons over and over again. I guess this antenna is for radios or very local tv stations. I was able to pull in one station here in Pensacola but it kept breaking up. (Posted on 26/06/2013)

Nice compact antenna with good reception. Slip on and off cable jack, which is more convenient. Nice for tailgating or outdoor. Indoor reception poor but better by a window. Must be in an area with good digital broadcast signal or you will not get any reception. Good if I'm in a city, not good if I'm camping. Update: Someone asked if this works with FM radio. While product description states higher frequency range, I tried it out on my little pocket transistor type radio and it pulls in FM stations too. YAY! (Posted on 12/02/2013)
