I bought these to use to speak on my cell phone. Without variation, every single caller with whom I speak on these complains of intolerable echo on their side. (Posted on 31/07/2014)
good headphone, but best for smaller heads Review by Chel Micheline "Chel Micheline"

The August headphones came with a charging cable and a user manual. These are decent headphones with a good sound and a good look. The main issue is that they are fairly small, so if you have a regular sized head (or above), it will be really hard to get a good fit with these. Pros: - Easy to pair - Size is easily adjustable - Nice styling - Durable build - Decent sound Cons: - The headphones are completely flat which is not the most ergonomic design. - Buttons are small and difficult to operate while being used. Overall: Decent inexpensive headset, but due to its size, it's probably best for those with smaller heads. (Posted on 16/11/2013)

These are really nice headphones at a good price. No problems and sound pretty good for blue tooth. I use them for working with Garage Band and FL Studio on my iPad. They are excellent for my needs. (Posted on 08/11/2013)

Good Sound, Design Leaves a Lot to be Desired Review by Dr. Bojan Tunguz

I own several over-the-ear bluetooth headphones. Most of them are similar in design and intended function to these August headphones. I like taking them with me to a coffee shop when I am working, as they provide the best combination of comfort, sound quality and portability. These are a decent pair of headphones, but unfortunately their design leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, the sound quality of these headphones was really good. It's as good or even better than most bluetooth stereo headsets that I have tried. It produces rich, nuanced sound that everyone except a die-hard audiophile will find very enjoyable. I've had a few of my friends use them as well and they all enjoyed the sound quality. If my review was solely based on the sound quality then these headphones would certainly merit five stars. However, in most other aspects they fall pretty short. The first thing I noticed about them was that the headphones' heads don't really rotate, which prevents them from adequately covering my ears. This, I think, is a pretty serious issue. Furthermore, the build quality of these headphones feels really cheap. I would not be surprised if parts of them break or stop functioning down the road. Finally, I wish that these headphones were collapsable - it would make them much more convenient to carry around with me, just like the similar Jabra headphones that I have. Overall, these are decent headphones but there are many others out there that far outperform them in terms of design and build quality. (Posted on 13/10/2013)

Product is great I use it to workout and for running it stays in place most of the time. And if u have a larger head it's expandable. Now the sound quality I's amazing for the price. And battery life is pretty decent It last for two or three days on a single charge. (Posted on 01/10/2013)
Great sound and nice clean look but a good fit will be difficult for some Review by M. Erb

The August EP635 is functionally the same as the August EP630 which I have also reviewed. The only difference is that the EP635 headphones have leather earcups instead of the foam coverings that the EP360's have. I immediately liked the look of these headphones. Very clean and contemporary. Each earpiece adjusts for length but unfortunately there is no rotation of the ear piece so I did not find these comfortable over my ears at all. Since these are over-ear headphones. the inability to adjust to an individual's head is going to cause some fit problems for some people. I was one of those people. Sound quality is impressive for a headphone in this price range. Nice full sound that was well balanced. The headphones charge in just a couple hours and give up to 8 hours of listening time. A USB to MicroUSB charging cable is provided. Had these fit me better I would have given 5 stars. They may fit you better than they did me. I was given a sample for review. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I'll respond if I can help. (Posted on 18/09/2013)

August Bluetooth headphones models EP630 and EP635 Review by Ali Julia

I own both EP630 and EP635 models of August Bluetooth headphones. From reading the description on Amazon I was not sure about the differences between the two models, so I thought it might be useful to compare them side by side. This two headphones have identical electronics. The difference between the two units is in the headphones. To demonstrate the difference I am attaching a collage close-up photos of both headphones. As you can see EP635 has leather cups surrounding the speakers, where as EP630 headphones have foam covers that are stretched evenly over the flat speakers. EP635 headphone cup is 2.375" by 1.875", EP630 is 2.125 x 1.75". Neither one fully covers my ears and they both rest on the ears. EP635 weighs 4.1oz, EP630 weighs 3.9oz. The headband on both units expands from 15" (measured from the center of the earphone to the center of the second earphone) to 17.75". The headphones flex well to fit heads of different width, but the headphones do not pivot side to side at all. I found EP635 more comfortable because they provide extra cushioning. The extra cushioning provided both better sound isolation and a more comfortable fit. The fit could have been even better if I could pivot the headphones just a little bit to account for angle of the ears. To test various speakers and headphone I use the same two pieces of music. This allows me to compare different speakers to each other. To test bass I use Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Some headphone break up and crackle with deep bass in that piece. August Bluetooth headphones (both models) handle the bass well. The second piece of music is Piano Concerto by Tchaikovsky, which gives me a variety of mid tones. Both headphones sounded good on the second piece as well. Both headphones come with a USB charging cable, with two spare foam covers, and a user manual. The power button on headphones has four functions: ✔ It turns the headphones on and off. Quick press of the button performs this function. ✔ It puts the headphones into bluetooth mode, to do so you need to press and hold the button for a few seconds. If your device requires a bluetooth password, the password is "0000". The headphones paired easily, and reconnected automatically after the device was turned off and then turned back on. ✔ If you quickly press the power button when the music is playing, it will mute the music. The second press unmutes it. ✔ If the head phones are paired with a the phone and you press the button when the phone is ringing you will pick up the phone, another press of the power button will hang up the call. You cannot initiate calls from the headphone. The volume up/down buttons have two functions each. ✔ If you press and hold the buttons they will change the volume. ✔ If you just touch the buttons it will move to next or previous track. The headphones run on built-in Li-ion battery 3.7V.240mAh. When the headphone is charging it will blink in red while charging and will stop blinking when it is fully charged. It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the headphones. Both headphones can play music for 8 hours on one charge. I received this bluetooth receiver from the manufacturer with a request for an honest review be it positive or negative. I hope the video and my description of pluses and minuses gives you a better idea of what to expect. To summarize: Both headphones produced good sound, I found EP635 headphones more comfortable. Durable, excellent sound quality, and they feel great! Review by Jeff Wentz

There are two different types to this product. There's the regular August EP360 Bluetooth wireless Stereo Headphones, then there's this one. The only difference is the fact that this headset right here has leather cushions on them, and I personally, love them! Not only do they feel great, I think they look great too! I mainly bought this headset so i would have a headset to talk to my friends over Playstation Network. This product is also able to multi sync with my phone and PS3. After i synced this with my phone, i decided to turn on some music, and I have to say, the music quality is phenomenal!! The buttons for the power and the - + are located on the back of the right ear cushion/console, so the only way someone could see them is from behind, which some people might prefer. They also feel quite durable. The neckband of this headset is cushioned with a leathery feel, so it feels great on your head. The only "bad" thing about this headset would be the fact that it may feel tight or small on some people's heads. My brother and mom both tried it on and said the same thing, " It's pretty tight on my head, but it should work for you since you have a small head." Haha. Overall, I freaking love this headset, i think it's great all around! 5 stars, most definitely. (Posted on 23/08/2013)
