cheap, low quality Review by Adam Fairbourn

Works. Does not turn on automatically after battery dead, switch is on, and plugged in (must turn off switch, wait 10 seconds, and turn switch back on). In other words, you cant just leave it plugged in and always on (when you turn car on, powers device on). Also the range is quite terrible, about 3 feet; anything further than 3 feet gets very choppy. Sound quality is not high at all, although not terrible. For the price, id say it could be worth it in some scenarios, but I have seen cheaper ones out there that probably wouldnt be any worse than this one. (Posted on 08/08/2014)

Does what it should, but the music suffers Review by Coggeshall

For less than $15 it's great. It has a solid 20+ foot range and easily connects. My favorite part is that when the connection gets weak the music just cuts in and out rather than giving up and fully disconnecting, avoiding the PITA of always having to reconnect. It is wicked easy to hook up; luckily I've got an xbox right next to my AV receiver so I could just plug the USB into that to keep it powered. If you haven't got that you should run by radioshack or target and grab a USB wall charger for $5. Like I said, it works great. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because you'll be sorely disappointed if you're expecting quality audio. I've got 2 nice Sony tower speakers hooked up to a Denon receiver, but the audio the comes through sounds little better than had I been plugged into some stock PC speakers (albeit louder). You just lose the highs, lows and overall crispness of the music. If I really want to sit and enjoy old or find new music I still plug in my 15ft 3.5mm cord to get quality sound. I hope to use it snowboarding sometime soon. It seems like it would be great to be able to leave it in my coat pocket so I don't have a cord to deal with when I'm pulling my phone out of my pants pocket. I'll report on the battery life once I have an opportunity to test it, but I don't expect I'll be able to get a full day out of the battery. (Posted on 09/12/2013)

Works Right Review by Luo

There are a few features I'd love to see in this product, but for the price point, I am satisfied. I bought a few of the MR220 models which have held up well, though the black model always felt a little junkier than the white model. The MR230B build quality feels more solid than the MR220 and it seems to function a little better (ex: requires less time charge and turn on from a fully discharged state). Five stars says it all. It does what its supposed to and I like it. (Posted on 13/09/2013)

It does not work if the device is more than 4 or 5 feet away. The battery does not last more than two hours. Poor product, would not recommend to anyone. (Posted on 29/08/2013)
Great for playing music on my surround sound system Review by Lyle Eckert "It's not that I am lazy; It's that I just don't care."

I am using this to play music on my stereo system (Onkyo TX-SR605) from my phone or laptop, which both have bluetooth. I have had no problems with the music which sounds good. The receiver can connect to my devices on the other side of the room, which is about 15 feet way without any loss in sound quality that I can tell. (Posted on 26/08/2013)
Somewhat disappointing Review by Michael Leone

I use this attached to my Onkyo stereo, to continue playing media I am listening to on my Android phone and iPad. The problem that I have with it is, if I have not used it in a while (even as short a time as a few hours), I have to turn the unit off and on, before my devices will connect to it again. And since my receiver is under my TV, this means that I have to go to the unit, reach down to the close to floor level, and power cycle the unit. This makes it very inconvenient to use. I want to just connect and use it, without having to touch the unit. The unit is powered by USB from my HTPC, so it's not a power issue. (Posted on 18/08/2013)
For the price it will do. Review by bigodfw

It works it does what I need it to do. I don't like the fact that it has its own proprietary power cable and the battery only last you 2 to 3 hours tops. On the other hand the price is good and the range is good and it charges fully in one hour. Good quality and easy setup. (Posted on 05/08/2013)
Lo-fi audio Review by gifford scott

Product pairs easily w/Bluetooth sources, comes with cables for mini-jack (3.5 mm) to RCA phono & mini-jack to mini-jack, but audio output is very low-fi: No treble to speak of and very little dynamic range. Unusable for music, imho. Bought the HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System after being dissatisfied w/this one, and it's a better option. Costs a bit more but outputs *much* better audio. (Posted on 24/07/2013)
