The August DTA455 is the latest flat-style antenna to be released by radio and TV experts August International. This upgrade takes the flat style of the DTA450 and expands the scope to a huge 120 inches square (160 cm square) to increase reception without sacrificing the flat design.
5dBi Innate Gain
The DTA455 is made with 5dBi of gain. High gain makes digital television aerials for Freeview receive signals from a more precise location, further away! With this caravan TV aerial you can set up TV in your caravan, campervan, kitchen or loft with ease.
The flat antenna is directional and should be placed in the direction of your chosen transmitter. The stand can be used to easily achieve this.
Please Note: When using this caravan TV aerial ensure you place the unit in the window, as high as possible. Many caravan parks / motorhome locations are in hilly areas far from a transmitter which increases the importance of correctly setting up the aerial.
Two Deployment Options
Use as a wall-mounted home indoor TV aerial or stand freely on tables, in tents and more. The two options make the DTA455 perfect for travelling. You can use the sticky 3M pads included to attach the aerial to a window or wall, potentially increasing reception.
Freeview and Freeview HDTV
The powerful aerial receives full HD reception and can plug in to 4K TVs as well as 1080p Full HD TVs. The aerial is capable of receiving both DVB-T (Freeview in the UK) and DVB-T2 (Freeview HD in the UK) signal bands which makes it perfect for the home
Easy Set Up
The aerial has no power requirement or batteries, instead relying on the innate gain and strong coaxial cable. The cable is 3 meters long to easily connect your aerial to any set top box or decoder. Once plugged in, you can scan for channels right away. The cable is insulated to improve carries signal, too.
