Using the supplied app, you can view any Freeview channels the device has received in your area, recording a programme is made simple by tapping the screen twice to start recording your favourite programmes to watch back at any time via your device's storage.
The August DVB-T405 comes with a built-in rechargeable battery allowing you up to 3 hours of continuous use. Packaging comes with a Micro-USB power cable to charge your device using your USB plug socket or plug adaptor with the battery being fully charged within 1.5 - 2 hours.
Portability
The August DVB-T405 includes two portable aerials for use on the go (location dependant), or use the included IEC standard aerial adaptor to connect to any roof-top antenna in your household, motorhome, caravan or boat. It can be used with Amplified household or portable aerials.
Watch TV Anywhere
As the T405 uses your device's WiFi to receive the Freeview signal, you can use the August DVB-T405 throughout your house, with a 10m range, this allows you to connect the device to your roof-top aerial (using a supplied adaptor) and watch anywhere you wish within range, whether this is in your household, outside by your motorhome or on a fishing trip, the possibilities are endless.

Please note that reception also depends on the distance to the regional transmitter. Very thick walls, neon lights and energy-consuming electrical appliances (fridge, oven, air-conditioning, etc.) can reduce the aerial capacity. It is advisable to search for channels with a roof aerial first.
