How to Change Watch Strap
The health watch comes as standard with an incrementally-adjustable magnetic strap. Each small segment is magnetic, so you can choose the right width for your wrist.
However, magnetic straps aren't for everyone!
If you want to change your watch strap, make sure you choose the one that is best for you using the pros and cons below. Once you are certain which strap is right for you, follow the instructions to replace the watch strap at home, no tools needed!
Choosing a Watch Strap
The right watch strap for a health watch can make measurements more efficient, increase usability, and maximise comfort. Everyone has different preferences, but we have compiled the most common reasons people prefer each type of strap below:

Traditional Buckle
Benefits
- No magnets in the silicone makes the strap more pliable and soft
- Traditional metal buckle locks in place securely
Drawbacks
- The small buckle mechanism can be harder to put on initially, and once set is much harder to adjust at will

Push-Pin Design
Benefits
- No magnets in the silicone makes the strap more pliable and soft
- Very easy to adjust at will and with less fine-motor requirement than a buckle
Drawbacks
- May be too simple for strenuous use and is easily removable by the wearer

Magnetic Segment Strap
Benefits
- The easiest and quickest to take off and on
- No defined holes for pins or buckles, simply snap in place freely
Drawbacks
- While very accessible, the strap is also most prone to accidental detachment with enough movement, or when exposed to water under the strap
Replace Watch Strap Process Steps
Step 1: Remove the Old Strap
To remove the old watch strap you must find the strap release pin. This is found above the watch face, on the corner where the strap starts.

This pin must be pulled free, and then the strap can be removed.
Gently remove the side that the release pin is, and then the other.
You'll need to repeat this process for both sides of the watch face.
Step 2: Attach the New Strap
To attach a new strap, you'll use those same point that you just removed the old strap from.
Line up the strap, making sure it is the correct way up! If using a buckle strap then the metal pin and buckle need to be facing "up", so that once attached they will be on the outside of your wrist and not cause discomfort.
Pull the release pin and line up the corner of the strap with the small indent in the watch face.
Let go of the pin, and the strap will click into place. If you release the pin and the strap doesn't attach, simply move the corner of the strap until it fits into place.
Bear in mind that if the strap comes away from the watch face, you'll have to pull the pin back again to try another time.
All Good Choices
All 3 options available are suited to different users, so you can't go too wrong with your watch strap replacement. If you favour the traditional style then get a buckle, while if you want the most accessible option then use a snapping magnetic strap. If you want a balance of the two, use a push-pin strap!
Once attached, the small release pin is secure and very difficult to accidentally move, so unintended release is unlikely for all these strap types.
