It's that time of the month again, and we have a small update for the Freeview EPG.
Freeview is having a fantastic time, what with the guaranteed broadcast of every match of the year! I certainly felt that last night with the 1-0 to Tottenham filling the high street I live next to with car horns and cheers until about half midnight...
But, I digress. This month Freeview have a few rebrands for us, concerning the usual suspect That's TV. Also, one brand new channel is launching onto your EPG this week, details below!
Freeview Channel Rebrands May 2025
That's Dance
Our usual suspect That's TV are mixing things up yet again. This time, it's That's Dance on Freeview Channel 76 which is changing name to That's Pride.
It is the end of May after all, so they're gearing up for June aka Pride Month in modern parlance. I'm sure they're change their icon to a rainbow to match.
That's Oldies
There's something strange about writing that That's Oldies has been rebranded, but alas Freeview Channel 78 is now That's Summer!
It is, once again, the end of May. I'm sure the majority are excited to get the summer vibes going and see the great outdoors, I'll just be hoping it doesn't get too much above 25c.
That's Dance MCR
3 guesses what That's Dance MCR at Freeview Channel 79, the Manchester broadcast of That's Dance, has become...
Yep, That's Pride MCR! Following suite with the standard national That's Dance change. Expect Pride Month to be fully celebrated here for the month of June! And hey, this time next month I'll get to report the name changing back...
Brand New Freeview Channel May 2025
High Street TV
There's one channel launch in May this time around.
The aptly named High Street TV found at Freeview Channel 95 promises to bring all the thrills and spills of browsing the high street to your living room. Joining the ever-flowing list of shopping channels here in the UK, High Street TV highlights everything from Air Fryers to Power Tools.
You can browse anything featured directly on their website, which makes following up easy.
If you can't make it to a real high street this summer, High Street TV is your digital backup!
Remember to Retune
As always, please remember that these changes may require a retune. Rebrands sometimes sync automatically as different metadata just gets send along the same band, but new channels like High Steet TV are more likely to need a rescan.
Keep enjoying those free Football broadcasts this Summer, and we'll see you next time!
