In an unprecedented move, there's but a singular thing to report in this update!
I got myself all ready to dive into the changes and search up the channels for my comprehensive overview, and there's only one!
Regardless, here's the Freeview update for February, such as it is.
New Channels Launching February 2025
The change to Freeview this month is a new channel, so at least it's not just a single EPG shuffle and that's all!
POP+1
The new POP+1 channel has launched on your Freeview EPG at channel number 212.
POP is a children's channel featured in updates recently as it had a split between different POP variants for younger and older kids. POP+1 provides this content one hour behind so that kids are more likely to be able to catch their favourites!
With the varied school hours and travel times, POP+1 is a great way to make sure children don't miss out just because of their location.
Remember to Retune
As always, remember to make sure your device is fully up-to-date and do an auto-scan if you find your EPG is misbehaving or missing channels.
Do bear in mind that hybrid channels that use IP (internet) will need a suitable internet-enabled tuner. You can find a full breakdown of which are which using the Freeview Channel Checker for your post-code!
