The August MR280 is both a Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter which supports device switching, displaying the current status in a crisp LCD screen.
This easy-to-use 2-in-1 Bluetooth receiver and transmitter enables you to add wireless audio to your TV, speakers, headphones or PC and then listen to your programs or favourite songs wirelessly.
Multi-purpose Bluetooth Audio Hub
Adjust the volume on your device or directly on the MR280 thanks to the easy volume control dial. Check what devices are connected to the adapter on the LCD screen and easily switch from one device to another. This Bluetooth adapter is easier to understand and set up since it features a fully back-lit screen with digital text and connection symbols.
The built-in antenna helps to get a snappy, stable signal. Automatic reconnection each time it is used makes the MR280 a perfect Bluetooth headphone adapter for your TV audio.
Bluetooth Audio Transmitter Mode
The wireless transmitter function for TV connects your Bluetooth headphones. Get high-quality sound up to 10 meters away and transfer the sound to 2 devices at the same time thanks to Multipoint technology.

Bluetooth Receiver for HiFi Audio

Just plug in the adapter to your device via an Optical, 3.5mm or RCA cable and enjoy your music or podcasts. It can be used on every audio device with a Jack 3.5mm, RCA or Optical Toslink Out.
Low Latency and High Fidelity
The MR280 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter for PC means you can wirelessly connect not just audio, but audio-visual devices and enjoy them wirelessly.
The fact that the MR280 includes an Optical Audio port puts it above other transmitters which rely only on 3.5mm audio. The Optical Audio port provides the highest fidelity wired sound from your Optical Audio TV. This, in turn, is broadcast to your Bluetooth devices.
Cabled Bypass Mode
Use the cabled Bypass mode to connect the MR280 between your TV and Home Cinema. The optical In and Out allow the sound to pass, and you can use the transmitter or receiver at any time you need it. No need to constantly connect and re-connect cables.
Easy Set Up
- Power the USB Bluetooth adapter. Connect the included USB-C cable to power the MR280.
- Connect an audio cable. Choose either Optical or 3.5mm audio and plug into the Input or Output ports.
- Select Transit or Receive. If you used a cable input, set the MR280 to transmit. If you used a cable output, set the MR280 to receive.
- Pair the second device. Make sure your other device (Phone, PC, headphones etc) are in pairing mode and hold them within 10cm of the MR280.
- Sit back and relax! Once paired, the name will appear on the MR280. Select with a single press, and enjoy your audio up to 10 meters from the adapter.

- Check that the MR280 is not already connected to 2 other devices.
- Check that your external device is not already connected via Bluetooth to another device.
- Check that your external device and the MR280 are within 10 meters of each other.
- Press the "Arrow Loop" button to refresh the search.

Shipping & Return
If you are not entirely satisfied with your product, you can return the item within 30 days of purchase. The item must be in its original packaging with all accessories. Once we have received the item, our engineers will inspect your returned item and your refund will be processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Please contact us before returning the item. We will attempt to resolve any issues you are experiencing and, if we are unable to do so, provide full return instructions. When returning an item, please download, complete and include the return form below inside your order. Failing to do so could lead to a delay in your refund. If you are unable to print the form you can fill out the information onto a blank piece of paper and include that instead.
In the event that the item is not containing all accessories or is poorly packaged and as a result returned damaged, we may be unable to issue a full refund. A customer service agent will explain this to you.

- All returned items must be properly protected against possible transport damage.
- You, as the buyer, are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s. Please use Royal Mail Second Class Parcel or lower. Our engineers inspect returned items, and if found to be faulty, your return postage will be refunded up to a maximum of £4.00
