Articulating Boom-Arm

The metal articulating arm of the microphone stand is spring-loaded for a secure grip on desks, tables, shelves, or music stands, accommodating a thickness of up to 46mm (1.8"). Anti-Shock Mount

A shock absorber is included to reduce vibrations propagating to the microphone. These vibrations are caused by the movement of your arms, tapping a keyboard, air conditioning or a heater.
