The Daffodil MCP200 condenser USB Microphone is the ideal tool for your computer audio recording needs. Thanks to its USB connection, it adapts very easily to your PC, Laptop or Mac.
No power source is necessary, the microphone is secured within the foldable and articulated 180-degree stand. A Pop filter / Spit Guard is also included to maximise sound quality.
Widely Compatible PC Microphone
The MCP200 connects via a USB port for both power and audio data transmission. This means you don't have to juggle a 3.5mm cable or headphone socket and can simply plug in to any standard USB port. This improves compatibility while reducing set-up time.
In fact, there are no driver downloads or proprietary software installations either. This mini microphone is made to be as easy and straightforward as possible by using a single cable connection to Windows, Mac and Linux PCs.
Please Note: For use with USB-C devices ensure your USB to USB-C adapter supports stereo audio data transfer, not only power transfer. Daffodil cannot guarantee data transmission through adapters.
Omnidirectional Music and Vocal Recording Microphone
An Omnidirectional "Polar Pattern" makes sure that audio is as authentic and immersive as possible. This is particularly helpful in group meetings, when recording podcasts and group projects, or when recording instruments which need sound captured from multiple points / angles.
The omnidirectional microphone captures all of these sounds and preserves your audio perfectly with no ducking. If you need to quickly put down a mini tripod and use a microphone for music recording then the MCP200 has your back.
Gaming, Podcast and Streaming Microphone Equipment
The MCP200 comes with some added accessories to make your recordings and streams professional, clear, and engaging. Make sure every callout, quip and query is heard in crystal clarity by using the included attachments:
Pop Filter - The microphone pop filter clips on the the frame and can be freely attached or removed. When attaching the pop filter, place it perpendicular to the source of the sound. For example, if you are recording your voice you'd place the pop filter so you can see the entire circle shape looking at you as you talk.
A pop filter removes unnecessary / accidental "pops" from audio spikes such as lip smacks, spittle, minor clicks as your pronounce certain hard sounds and also helps remove the slithering sound of sibilance.
Shock Mount - The shock mount which holds the MCP200 is resistant to shaking from desk movements, keyboard tapping and nervous leg-shaking at a conference or interview. Make professional, clean recordings without minor intrusions causing disruption to your end result.
These attachments are transform the small microphone in to a high-quality bit of kit capable of being a home studio microphone or streaming mic.
Versatile and Multipurpose Portable Tripod Microphone
Supporting the shock mount, pop filter and microphone itself is a mini tripod. This tripod is adjustable and features rotation up to 180 degrees. Set up on desks, in the office, on conference tables, at home, in libraries or study rooms and even on-the-go on train folding tables!
The USB connection combined with the modular attachments, ~100 Gram weight and easy tripod combine to make sure you can configure the microphone how you want, where you want, when you want.

Q: Why is my recording "blurry"?
A: The MCP200 can support audio up to 110db, but will become more unstable the closer to this volume you reach. If you are experiencing issues please lower your microphone gain and volume.
Q: How do I turn the Mic Off?
