Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own HDMI cable?
Yes, if you want to view your footage on a TV or monitor while recording, you will need to supply your own HDMI cable. However, recording is possible without an HDMI connection. In this case, you won’t see the recording unless your connected device has its own display, such as a camcorder.
How can I tell if the device is recording?
The device features two LEDs: a Recording Status LED and a Power LED. Ensure the device is powered on, then monitor the Recording Status LED to confirm that recording is in progress.
How do I switch between an SD card and a USB stick for storage?
Never connect an SD card and USB stick simultaneously. This ensures the device records to the correct storage option and prevents potential corruption of your drive.
