Multifunctional Outdoor Bike and Backpack Tail Light

The LEC500 Rear Red Tail-light supports five different lighting modes, Strobe, Slow Flash, Breathing, Meteor and Double Meteor. Switch to your desired lighting mode using the centre power button. Different lighting modes affect battery life; we’ve provided descriptions and estimated battery times below.

Strobe - Up to 9 Hour Battery

The Strobe light uses 90% of the LED power to create a super bright, unavoidable safety light favoured by cyclists and is best used for busy roads where safety and the need to be seen quickly is key.

Slow Flash - Up to 56 Hour Battery

The Slow Flash light uses only 60% of the LED power at once, changing which LEDs are used over time, a great choice for both cyclists and scooter riders on longer journeys in clear conditions and quiet roads.

Breathing - Up to 8 Hour Battery

The Breathing Mode on the LEC500 uses the full 100% LEDs to provide a single solid Red Light on a slow on-off-on at a high angle, this provides less motion but a higher beam and is best used in adverse conditions such as rain and fog.

Meteor and Double Meteor - Up to 10-15 Hour Battery

The meteor and double meteor settings use 30% of the LED power and moves the lit LED around the edge of the light. This creates more motion and easier gauge of distance and speed, at the cost of brightness and distance. This is best used for group cycling, slow roads within towns and pavement cycling.

Rechargeable Battery LED Bike Light

The LEC500 Clip-on Bike Tail Light can provide up to 56 hours battery life per charge dependant on lighting mode chosen, this allows you to use it on multiple trips before the need to recharge. Recharge the internal battery with the supplied USB Charging Cable which can be charged from any USB powered socket such as your PC, Laptop or TV and can take up to 2 Hours to fully charge.

Easy attachment to the bike with no tools required. You can install each light in 5 seconds, either on the handlebars or the seat post.
