The August MR280 is both a Bluetooth transmitter and a Bluetooth Receiver which supports device switching, displaying the current status in a crisp LCD screen.
This easy-to-use 2-in-1 Bluetooth receiver and transmitter enables you to add Bluetooth functionality to your devices and listen to your programs or favourite songs wirelessly.
Multi-purpose Bluetooth Audio Hub
Adjust the volume on your device or directly on the MR280 thanks to the easy volume control button. Check what devices are connected to the Bluetooth adapter on the LCD screen and easily switch from one device to another. Featuring a fully back-lit screen with digital text and connection symbols this Bluetooth adapter is easy to understand and set up.

Low Latency and High Fidelity
The MR280 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter means you can wirelessly connect not just audio, but audio-visual devices and enjoy them wirelessly over Bluetooth. The fact that the MR280 includes an Optical Audio port puts it above other transmitters which rely only on 3.5mm audio. The Optical Audio port provides the highest fidelity wired sound from your Optical Audio TV. This, in turn, is broadcast to your Bluetooth devices.
Cabled Bypass Mode
Use the cabled Bypass mode to connect the MR280 between your TV and Home Cinema. The optical In and Out allow the sound to pass, and you can use the transmitter or receiver at any time you need it. No need to constantly connect and re-connect cables.

Frequently Asked Questions
The MR280 does not power on
- Check the connection
- Try connecting to an AC adapter (such as a phone charger)
- Press the On button
The MR280 does not recognise my device
- Check that the MR280 is in the correct mode (transmitter or receiver).
- Check that the MR280 is not already connected to 2 other devices.
- Check that your external device is not already connected via Bluetooth to another device.
- Check that your external device and the MR280 are within 10 meters of each other.
- Press the "Arrow Loop" button to refresh the search.

Shipping & Return
If you are not entirely satisfied with your product, you can return the item within 30 days of purchase. The item must be in its original packaging with all accessories. Once we have received the item, our engineers will inspect your returned item and your refund will be processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Please contact us before returning the item. We will attempt to resolve any issues you are experiencing and, if we are unable to do so, provide full return instructions. When returning an item, please download, complete and include the return form below inside your order. Failing to do so could lead to a delay in your refund. If you are unable to print the form you can fill out the information onto a blank piece of paper and include that instead.
In the event that the item is not containing all accessories or is poorly packaged and as a result returned damaged, we may be unable to issue a full refund. A customer service agent will explain this to you.

- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase, please complete the downloadable form below and return the item/s within 14 days of contacting us.

- All returned items must be properly protected against possible transport damage.
- You, as the buyer, are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s. Please use Royal Mail Second Class Parcel or lower. Our engineers inspect returned items, and if found to be faulty, your return postage will be refunded up to a maximum of £4.00
