The August International DVB415 Set-Top Box is a medium-sized HD Freeview Box with a modern and stylish design that fits in with any home or caravan. Quick to install and operate with supplied cables and USB port. It offers full 1080p HD channels, PVR recording, and live Timeshift functions, helping you to never miss a show. A roof-top/portable aerial is necessary to access Free-to-Air Freeview Channels. To record, a USB 2.0 Memory Stick is required and should be inserted into the USB port at the front of the box.

The Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) Feature displays the television programme schedule for the upcoming seven days on over 100 channels, allowing easy setup of scheduled recordings. You can schedule auto-channel changing in tune with programme times to ensure never missing the desired show. It also provides saving and customisation options for preferred channels, optimising the TV viewing experience.
Record, Pause and Rewind Television Channels
The August DVB415's Timeshift function enables pausing and rewinding of live Freeview television. Recording a channel merely requires the press of a button, and recordings can be viewed with the Set-Top Box's PVR Player or transferred to a PC. Playing movies, photos and music from a USB Memory Stick is also possible with the DVB415 as a multimedia entertainment centre.
Please Note: A USB 2.0 Only Memory Stick is required to use the recording functions with a maximum of 1TB in size.
Settings and Video Outputs
Adjust aspect ratio's between 16:9 Pan & Scan, 4:3 Full, 4:3 Letterbox or 4:3 Pan and Scan to suit your multimedia and achieve and authentic experience.
1080P, 1080i, 720p and 576p resolutions are supported to adapt to even older Televisions as well as modern ones.
This set-top box takes advantage of Freeview HD Channels when connected via HDMI Cable (Supplied). Alternatively, the DVB415 is suitable for connection to older television models via SCART Cable.
Parental Controls ensure that access to sensor channels can be blocked with a pin-controlled system, requiring an access code before viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Box says 'Boot', but nothing is on my TV screen?
A: Boot is the standard bootup message, and this is not a concern. Please check that the HDMI/Scart is fully inserted both in the box and your television, and check that the television is on the correct Source.
Q: What USB stick is compatible?
A: You will need a USB Memory Stick or External Hard drive to enable channel recording. Any USB 2.0 1TB or less is acceptable. Between 16 - 64GB is generally good enough for a week’s recordings.
Q: Will not record to USB Memory Stick.
A: Our Freeview boxes generally prefer using NTFS over FAT32. To format your USB drive follow the following steps, from the menu, Scroll along to ‘Media Player’ at the far right.Scroll down and select ‘PVR Settings’ Select ‘Format’ and Switch from ‘FAT32’ to ‘NTFS’ You will be able to record from here on out.
*Please note, formatting the stick will erase any data currently stored on it.
