August MB225 Rechargeable Portable DAB+ Radio

The August MB225 is a portable DAB radio and travel alarm clock with a long-life rechargeable battery, making it the ideal choice for listening to FM, DAB and DAB+ stations on the go. It's compact and lightweight while retaining good volume which makes it perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

The attached telescopic aerial can be adjusted for the best signal and audio quality, as well as extended or collapsed for travel or storage.

The internal rechargeable battery on the August MB225 portable gives you up to 25 hours of radio listening time. When empty, recharge it with the micro-USB cable supplied in the box and any powered USB port.

DAB / DAB+ Radio Reception

FM Radio Reception

The August MB225 portable radio can also receive traditional FM radio stations. Up to 20 FM stations can be stored on the device, 4 of which can be accessed quickly just like DAB.

You can manually tune through FM frequencies to find new stations and discover local radio, or simply hold the up/down button to begin auto-scanning to the next available station, saving you time.

Easily Save Favourites

Up to 20 DAB and DAB+ stations can be stored as favourites for quick access on the set, including 4 with ultra-fast button access from the top of the device. Changing between your 4 favourites throughout the day to catch regular news, shows and segments is easier than ever.

With built-in DAB/DAB+ and FM, you can access a wide array of stations for your personal preference. Make use of the 40 pre-sets for easy navigation through your favourite stations. 

Personalised Digital Radio Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer

Wake up to your favourite radio station thanks to August MB225’s personalised alarm clock settings. Set one alarm for the weekday and another for the weekend. The Dual Alarms functionality makes your schedule easier to manage and allows you to wake up at a different time and to a different station at the weekend.

The sleep timer setting means you can fall asleep listening to your station of choice with the programmable auto power-off function.

Easily Find Channels

DAB radios make it easy to scan and save new channels. The August MB225 is equipped with both Quick and Full Scan modes, making it simple to find all available channels and save your favourites. 

The easy to use Prune is a feature makes it simple to delete stations that are no longer transmitting or have moved frequency.

DRC Feature

The August MB225 portable radio is equipped with Dynamic Range Compression (DRC) functionality, allowing volume reduction of louder sounds while boosting the volume of quieter sounds. 

The DRC automatically manages audio levels making it easier to hear all the content in various listening environments without constantly adjusting the volume.
