The DTA450 by August is a portable HD TV Aerial suitable for indoor or outdoor use, designed to provide excellent digital reception. Its sleek and flexible design allows for convenient placement anywhere you prefer. You can use the included aerial stand or attach it to a window or wall using the pre-attached sticker. It comes with a 3m Cable featuring a standard IEC Coaxial Connection, which can be used with any TV currently available in the market, as well as set-top boxes, TV tuners, and portable TVs. Additionally, it has a high gain 5dBi signal strength boost, ensuring you can start receiving channels without any difficulties.
This aerial is capable of receiving frequencies within the VHF range of 174-230MHz and the UHF range of 470-860MHz, making it suitable for both Freeview and DAB Broadcasting. Whether you intend to use it in your bedroom, kitchen, caravan, boat, or car, the DTA450 will significantly enhance your reception in almost any situation.

The DTA450 Aerial comes with a peelable sticker already attached, which enables you to easily attach the aerial to any window or wall surface. In addition to the pre-attached sticker, the box also includes two extra stickers that can be used to provide additional support for the aerial if necessary. Alternatively, you can use the included stand if you prefer to keep the aerial upright and position it close to your TV.

Simply plug the DTA450 Aerial into your TV, Tuner Card, or Portable Television to enjoy the full benefits of Freeview Broadcasting. By doing so, you will be able to receive up to 160+ TV Channels, depending on the availability in your specific area.
No instructions Necessary
Upon receiving your aerial, assemble the stand by fixing its parts together. Slide the aerial into place on the stand. Next, plug the coaxial cable from the aerial into the aerial input socket on your TV or set-top box (STB). After the connection is established, attempt to scan for channels on your TV or STB. If you find that no channels are being detected, it may be necessary to relocate the aerial to a different position and try the scanning process again. This allows you to optimize the reception and improve the chances of successfully receiving TV channels.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Not receiving any channels?
A: Make sure the aerial connection is fully connected to your TV, and perform a channel scan, if no channels appear, move the aerial to a better location and rescan for channels. Make sure to re-scan for channels whenever you move the aerial around.
Q: Can this aerial be used outside?
A: We would not recommend using this aerial outside, this aerial is designed for indoor use only.
Q: Will this aerial work with Set-Top boxes like August, TalkTalk & BT YouView?
A: Yes, this aerial can connect to the back of your Freeview box, make sure to have the aerial positioned well when scanning for channels
Q: There are no instructions, how do I install the aerial?
A: No instructions are supplied with this product as it's quite simple to install. Screw the antenna on top of the aerial in place, connect the cable to your TV or Set-Top Box and perform a channel scan.
Q: Will this aerial work with any TV?
A: Yes, any TV or TV Tuner with a standard IEC Coaxial connection will be able to use this aerial
