What is Noise Reduction?
Noise reduction is the process of removing noise from a signal. Noise is unwanted sound judged to be unpleasant, loud or disruptive to hearing. From a physics standpoint, noise is indistinguishable from sound, as both are vibrations through a medium, such as air or water. The difference arises when the brain receives and perceives a sound.

What is ANC?
Active Noise Control(ANC) technology is used to eliminate low-frequency background sounds produced by the environment, for most manufacturers, the low-frequency noise threshold is set to 1 kHz. ANC devices reduce background noise, allowing you to have a less disrupted journey if you are travelling.
Why choose ANC headphones?
Noise-cancelling headphones enable you to have, in some aspects, a more peaceful life. Take for example commuting, whilst throwing on a pair of headphones may let you enjoy your own music, there’s still somewhat disruptions, whether it’s the screaming kids at the other end of the train, or the guy sitting next to you, coughing away on the bus. The ability to drown out these noises to the extent where you are able to be at one with your music is more than satisfying. Imagine that day without the disruptions and noise on your journey, what if I told you a pair of headphones could do that for you. Well, they can.
No noise means you can launch yourself into another world. Whether it be your favourite rock song, a podcast you’re catching up on or even a TV show or movie, these are the little things we take for granted. Personally, I think in order to better appreciate the music, I need a quiet environment. The noise in the environment more or less affects the way we listen to music, so to get the ultimate listening experience a quiet environment is a must.
With noise-canceling headphones, you can calm down when you work, and you will not hear twitter from your colleagues and more importantly, you will not be spoiled for the latest drama series.
