The August DVB482 Set Top Box is the culmination of technical advancements in DVB-T, DVB-T2 and PVR recording technology. This version has been updated with the added functionality to watch and record live TV from two different channels, simultaneously!

When your favourite shows clash, you don’t have to settle, you can watch both back-to-backs by recording one while watching the other. Then, simply play the recorded show off of the USB or Hard Drive you connected to the DVB482.

Easy To Use

Retaining a simple plug-and-play set-up using the provided power cable and your home coaxial aerial cable you can be Freeview HD ready in just a few minutes. Connect the Set Top Box with HDMI to enjoy full 1080p pictures on your TV. In dedication to making entertainment accessible to all, the DVB482 still includes a SCART port, too, so you can use your old SCART cables if your TV is not HDMI-Ready. Access up to 120+ UK Freeview and Freeview HD channels, plus Freeview Radio Channels in the UK.

Dual-Recording Feature

With the DVB482 you can record one channel while watching and recording another channel at the same time! Never suffer from shows clashing, and instead watch them back-to-back.
Create a personal local library of shows and films that are yours to save onto an inserted USB Stick, and won't be removed by a subscription service or taken down from the net. USB Sticks can be reformatted with the Set-Top-Box itself. Format USB sticks to NTFS to ensure you can record with your drive.

With the DVB482’s 7-Day EPG, you can easily browse upcoming TV programs for the next seven days and schedule recordings directly. This makes it simple to record or auto-switch to your favourite shows with just a few clicks. Customize your channel list for a personalized viewing experience and smoother channel navigation.

Schedule Recordings and Timeshift

If you manage to miss the start of a show from all the excitement then you can rewind and catch up in real-time, no need to wait for the show to go up on catch-up services or use any internet! Schedule your recordings ahead up to one week in advance with the full week-long Electronic Program Guide. Plan set recordings and reminders, and never miss a show you love again. Recordings are scheduled right from the EPG so you can set up a last-minute recording with a couple of clicks of the included wireless remote. The EPG, recording menu and interface are all easy to use and designed to be communicative and intuitive. You can use the Schedule page to set up to 8 different recordings up to two weeks in advance! These can be any time in the future and custom durations. 2 of the recordings can overlap and record at the same time.
