Set-up is quick and easy, connect the T405 to an antenna such as your rooftop aerial (using a supplied IEC adaptor) or the included portable antenna. Connect your phone to the T405 by simply connecting to its Wi-Fi signal and scanning for channels via the 'August 405' Apple / Android App, Also available on Amazon Tablets by installing the APK available from the August .

Freeview TV Wi-Fi Receiver

Using Wi-Fi to stream TV through your house allows you to watch TV anywhere. The 10m range allows you to set up the dongle by your rooftop aerial socket and sit back and relax on the couch whilst watching TV on your tablet, or even watch your favourite shows whilst preparing a roast from the kitchen.

What devices can I use this on?
You can use it with any Android or Apple device including iPads, Tablets and Chromebooks by downloading the App from their App Stores, you can also use it on Amazon Tablets by downloading the APK installer.
The app cannot find or connect to the T405?
Please make sure you have your device's location settings switched on, this is the number one reason why your device will not connect to the T405
Aerial is not working, no signal is being received.
The supplied aerials are intended to be used outdoors and have a limited range to a transmitter, if you are using the device indoors we recommend using the included aerial adaptor cable and connecting the T405 to your roof-top aerial.
Do I need an internet connection or data plan to use the DVB-T405?
No, the August DVB-T405 creates its own Wi-Fi network to stream TV to your device, so no mobile data, internet connection, or subscription is required to watch or record Freeview channels.

Shipping & Return
If you are not entirely satisfied with your product, you can return the item within 30 days of purchase. The item must be in its original packaging with all accessories. Once we have received the item, our engineers will inspect your returned item and your refund will be processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Please contact us before returning the item. We will attempt to resolve any issues you are experiencing and, if we are unable to do so, provide full return instructions. When returning an item, please download, complete and include the return form below inside your order. Failing to do so could lead to a delay in your refund. If you are unable to print the form you can fill out the information onto a blank piece of paper and include that instead.
In the event that the item is not containing all accessories or is poorly packaged and as a result returned damaged, we may be unable to issue a full refund. A customer service agent will explain this to you.

- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase, please complete the downloadable form below and return the item/s within 14 days of contacting us.

- All returned items must be properly protected against possible transport damage.
- You, as the buyer, are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s. Please use Royal Mail Second Class Parcel or lower. Our engineers inspect returned items, and if found to be faulty, your return postage will be refunded up to a maximum of £4.00
